I was out and about in town to catch the NDP celebration. Not the main celebration at the Padang but just the fireworks. There were a few short bursts which i believe is choreographed at the end of the mass display. Just like this:

By the time I switched my Vado on and started to record, it was over. I got glimpses of it.
I didn’t miss the main one at the end though. I got all of it. Lasted nearly 4 minutes.
This clip is taken from the sidewalk of the new access bridge road to MBS. The Helix pedestrian bridge is just in front from where i’m standing. It’s raw. So it features moving heads and also an index finger poking into my clip. (The old lady was pointing to the fireworks ignited from the hotel roof). And the audio background was provided by a group of teenagers on my right. It was lovely though. I mean the fireworks. There’s stars and crescent at 1:50. The last one minute was pretty intense and loud. Bright ball-shaped firework lit up the sky. As you can hear, everybody enjoyed it.
Nowadays, DSLRs are common. I see lots of people carrying that around just now. They were creative with it. One of the guy shot a photo of his friends with the fireworks as the background. I peeked at his camera while he was checking that shot. It was nice. Crisp and sharp image. I want one too!!
